we had permission from the local caretaker to enter at our own risk.. we were told homeless people were living in the attic, so we were extremely quiet. this would of been the main hall most of these rooms have not been touched since the 1980's, as you will tell throughout the video.. at this point, we encounted our first noise from upstairs, someone sneezed..#hayfeverisabitch the rooms on the left would of been class rooms. chalk board reads 'i don't like being alone in here with him..' at this point, my friend thought he saw someone, which we had expected... this building has 3 floors and an attic
we are now entering the chapel, where, it is said, you can hear children running at night and the sound of a priest reading passages! the piece of carpet here actually reads 'he's still here, run...' i place a voice recorder on the table, as i am told, i will pick up unexplainable sounds.. ...i then remember how much this cost me, and decide not to fund some homeless mans habit. i did use this recorder at a much later date, and did pick up some interesting stuff on it! we hear more noises again from down the corridor... parts of the floor have completely rotted away, exposing the foundations some 5ft deep in places down to the left, is where parts of 'raggy boy' were filmed, this is seemingly the centre of the main building. ..at this point, we know for sure people are in the building, somewhere..
we decide to come back to the main hall, to work out where the sounds are coming from. we don't really want to disturb anyone, so try to stay quiet. ...deciding what to do.. let's have another look. we are now entering one of the main class rooms.. notice the chalk on the boards..could of been used for the 'raggy boy' film possibly.. hearing more noises, it sounds like people are down here with us, but can't see them... we decide to head to the class room, as we know another way out. we decide to head back to the hall for another quick check and see whats upstairs! if the homeless are...home, then we know they are in the attic, that gives us a couple of floors to explore.
not a nice area, this part.. you can see the iron railings coming into view, these look like they could of been bedrooms.. looking ridiculous time for a selfie... at this point, we know for sure people are downstairs, as we see someone in the open window below we continue into what looks like shower / bathroom cubicles being very quiet now, as i know the attic is only a floor up.. sending a text.. i just had to look up the second flight of stairs
now i am being extremely careful. the caretaker had given us permission to enter, but at our own risk.. this paper dated back to 1982.. no idea why i did this, but i did.. we are heading into the attic heart racing with excitement and intrigue thats the attic ...that dark doorway leads to the main attic.. dead bird dont feel let down...no ghosts, and we saw no homeless people. more then likely because they wanted to stay out of sight, and i wasn't going to pressure them. the history of this place is what makes its eerie. not the 'ghosts'. we left the property soon after and thanked the caretaker for allowing us entry. hope you enjoyed it!
